How Do I Get Rid of Abandoned Cart Email Shopify?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 7:37 pm

If you’ve ever been in the process of shopping online, only to have the website crash or to be interrupted by a phone call or text, you know how frustrating it can be to lose items you were planning to purchase. And if you’re a store owner, you know how important it is to recover those lost sales. One way to do that is to send abandoned cart emails.

Abandoned cart emails are a type of automated email that’s sent when someone adds items to their online shopping cart, but doesn’t complete the purchase. These emails usually include a reminder of what was left in the cart, as well as a link back to the website so the customer can finish their purchase.

If you’re using Shopify, there are a few different ways you can set up abandoned cart emails. You can use Shopify’s built-in abandoned cart recovery feature, which is available on all plans except for Shopify Lite.

PRO TIP: If you are considering using Shopify to create an online store, you may be wondering how to get rid of abandoned cart email. While this can be a useful tool to recover lost sales, it can also be a source of frustration for customers who accidentally leave items in their cart. If you decide to use Shopify, we recommend that you disable the abandoned cart email feature.

Or, you can install an app from the Shopify App Store. There are a few different apps available, and they all work slightly differently.

Once you’ve set up your abandoned cart email system, it’s important to test it out to make sure it’s working properly. You can do this by adding items to your own shopping cart and then leaving the site without completing the purchase.

Then, check your email inbox to see if you receive the abandoned cart email. If you don’t receive it, or if it’s not formatted correctly, reach out to Shopify support for help.

Abandoned cart emails can be a great way to recover lost sales and boost your bottom line. If you’re not already using them, we recommend giving them a try.
