If you’ve created a Wix website but can’t seem to get it published, don’t worry – you’re not alone. Many Wix users have the same problem.
The good news is that there are a few things you can try to get your site published.
Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.
The first thing you should do is check your Wix account to make sure you haven’t reached your limit of sites. If you have, you’ll need to upgrade your account before you can publish any more sites.
Next, check the settings for your site. In the “Site” tab, click on “Site Publishing.”
Here, you can check to see if your site is set to “Private” or “Password Protected.” If it is, change it to “Public” and try publishing again.
If those two things don’t work, the next step is to clear your browser’s cache and cookies. This can often solve publishing problems.
To do this, go to your browser’s settings and find the “Clear Cache and Cookies” option. Once you’ve done this, try publishing your site again.
If you’re still having trouble publishing your Wix website, contact Wix customer support for help. They’ll be able to take a look at your account and figure out what’s going on.
