How Do I Filter Orders on Shopify?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 9:11 pm

There are a few different ways that you can filter orders on Shopify. You can do this by using the search bar, by using the order status filter, or by using the tag filter.

To use the search bar, simply enter in the order number, product name, or customer name that you are looking for. This will bring up all of the orders that match your search criteria.

PRO TIP: If you are using Shopify to manage your online store, it is important to be aware of the potential risks associated with filtering orders. While filtering can be a helpful way to organize and manage your orders, it can also lead to problems if not used correctly.

For example, if you accidentally filter out an order that you meant to keep, you may not be able to retrieve it or may have difficulty finding it later. Additionally, if you filter orders by payment status (e.g., only showing orders that have been paid), you may miss out on orders that are still in the process of being paid. Finally, if you filter by shipping status (e.g., only showing orders that have been shipped), you may miss out on orders that are still waiting to be shipped.

To avoid these problems, it is important to be careful when using the filtering feature on Shopify. Make sure that you only filter orders that you actually want to filter, and check all of the filters before applying them. If you have any questions about how to use the filtering feature correctly, please contact Shopify support for assistance.

To use the order status filter, select the “All” drop-down menu and then choose the “Pending” option. This will show you all of the orders that are currently in a pending status.

To use the tag filter, select the “Tags” drop-down menu and then choose the tag that you want to filter by. This will show you all of the orders that have been tagged with that particular tag.

By using one or more of these filters, you should be able to easily find the order that you are looking for.
