Is Squarespace Completely Free?

Squarespace is a web-based platform that allows users to create and maintain websites. It is available in both English and Spanish.

The company was founded in 2003 and is headquartered in New York City.

Squarespace offers three main plans: Personal, Business, and eCommerce. The personal plan is free for 14 days, after which it costs $8 per month.

The business plan costs $18 per month, and the eCommerce plan costs $26 per month. All plans come with a free domain name for one year and include 24/7 customer support.

PRO TIP: Squarespace is not completely free. There are two types of accounts: a free trial account and a paid account. With a free trial account, you can explore Squarespace and see if it’s the right platform for you. However, you’ll be limited in what you can do and your site will have Squarespace branding. If you want to remove the branding and have full access to Squarespace’s features, you’ll need to sign up for a paid account. Paid accounts start at $12 per month.

The personal plan includes a custom domain name, unlimited storage and bandwidth, and access to Squarespace’s email marketing tools. The business plan includes all of the features of the personal plan, plus unlimited contributors, an advanced website stats tool, and $100 in Google AdWords credit. The eCommerce plan includes all of the features of the business plan, plus unlimited products, automatic tax calculations, and abandoned cart recovery.

So is Squarespace completely free? No, but there is a free trial available that allows you to test out the platform before committing to a paid subscription.
