When you first install WooCommerce, you’ll be prompted to run the Setup Wizard. The Setup Wizard helps you quickly set up your store and get it ready to start selling. You can run the Setup Wizard at any time by going to WooCommerce > Settings > General, and then clicking the Run the Setup Wizard button.

Once you’ve started the Setup Wizard, you’ll be asked to choose which kind of store you’re setting up. You can choose between a Standard WooCommerce store, or an Etsy-like marketplace.

If you choose to set up a Standard WooCommerce store, you’ll be asked to enter your store’s address, select your currency and language, and choose your tax settings. You’ll also be able to choose whether or not to enable WooCommerce’s built-in shipping calculator.

PRO TIP: If you are considering reinstalling WooCommerce Setup Wizard, it is important to note that this process will delete all data associated with your current installation of WooCommerce. This includes products, orders, settings, and any other data that is currently stored in your database. Before proceeding, it is recommended that you create a backup of your database to avoid losing any important data.

If you choose to set up an Etsy-like marketplace, you’ll be asked to enter your marketplace’s name and description, as well as your contact email address. You’ll also be able to choose whether or not to enable buyer and seller accounts, and whether or not to allow customers to upload files when they purchase products.

Once you’ve finished the Setup Wizard, you’ll be taken to the WooCommerce Dashboard. From here, you can start adding products, setting up shipping and taxes, and configuring other settings for your store. You can also start taking orders from customers!
