Which Squarespace templates have a sidebar?

Not all Squarespace templates come with a sidebar by default, but it’s easy to add one if you’re using the Avenue, Bedford, Brine, Farro, Hayden, Horizon, Naia, Om, Pacific, Skye or Tudor template.

To add a sidebar to one of these templates:

1. Log into your Squarespace account and go to the Settings panel for the relevant page.
2. Click the Advanced tab and scroll down to the “Page Layout” section.
3. Select “Sidebar” from the dropdown menu.
4. (optional): If you want the sidebar to appear on every page of your site, check the “Apply this layout to all pages” box.

How to add a sidebar to any other Squarespace template

If you’re using a different template, you can still add a sidebar by following these steps:

1. Log into your Squarespace account and go to the “Settings”. panel for the relevant page.
