How do I add a filter to search in WordPress?

When you want to find a specific post or page in WordPress, you can use the search box in the upper right corner of the screen. However, sometimes you might want to only see posts that are from a certain category or from a certain date.

In that case, you can add a filter to your search.

To add a filter to your search, go to the Settings page for your blog, and under the “Search” heading, click the “Add a filter” link. This will open the “Add a filter” screen.

On this screen, you will need to provide some information about the filter. The first thing you will need to specify is the type of filter you are adding.

WordPress offers three types of filters: content, date, and category.

If you want to remove a filter you have added, go to the “Search” page for your blog, and under the “Add a filter” heading, click the “Remove filter” link. This will open the “Remove filter” screen.

On this screen, you will need to provide the filter ID. WordPress will will remove the filter with the given filter ID.
