When you are working with WooCommerce, there are a few things that you need to keep in mind in regards to editing meta. First and foremost, you need to make sure that you have the most recent version of WooCommerce installed. Secondly, you need to be aware of the fact that there are three different types of meta data that can be edited in WooCommerce: product meta, order meta, and customer meta.

Each type of meta data has its own unique set of fields that can be edited. Lastly, you need to know how to properly format your changes so that they will be saved correctly.

In order to edit product meta, you first need to go to the Products page in the WordPress admin panel. From there, you will see a list of all the products that are currently in your WooCommerce store. Find the product that you want to edit, and then click on the Edit button. This will take you to the Edit Product page.

On this page, scroll down to the Product Data section. In this section, you will see a tab labeled Meta. Click on this tab, and then you will see all of the product meta fields that can be edited. Make your changes, and then click on the Update button.

PRO TIP: If you are not comfortable with code, we recommend not editing WooCommerce meta. Meta is used by WooCommerce to store important data, and modifying it can break your store.

In order to edit order meta, you first need to go to the Orders page in the WordPress admin panel. From there, you will see a list of all the orders that are currently in your WooCommerce store. Find the order that you want to edit, and then click on the Edit button next to it. This will take you to the Edit Order page. On this page, scroll down to the Order Data section.

Click on this tab, and then you will see all of the order meta fields that can be edited.

In order to edit customer meta, you first need to go to the Customers page in the WordPress admin panel. From there, you will see a list of all the customers that are currently in your WooCommerce store. Find the customer that you want to edit, and then click on the Edit button next to it. This will take you to the Edit Customer page. On this page, scroll down to the Customer Data section.

Conclusion:

To edit Meta in WooCommerce simply requires going into each individual type of Meta (product/order/customer) and editing it from there according respective pages found within your WordPress Admin Panel
