How Do I Use Different Variation Images in WooCommerce?

Different product images can be really helpful when it comes to showing off a product on your WooCommerce site. By adding different variations of an image, you can give customers a better idea of what the product looks like from different angles, or in different colors.

There are a few different ways that you can add variation images to your product pages in WooCommerce. One way is to simply add the images to your product gallery.

To do this, open up the product page that you want to add the images to, and then click on the “Add media” button near the top of the page. From here, you can upload the new images that you want to add. Make sure to click on the “Insert into post” button after each image that you upload.

PRO TIP: If you are using WooCommerce to sell products, it is important to know how to use different variation images. By default, WooCommerce will use the first image that you upload for all of your product variations. However, you can change this so that each variation has its own image.

To do this, go to the product page and select the “Variations” tab. Then, select the “Use separate images for variations” checkbox. Now, when you upload your images, you will be able to select which image goes with which variation.

Keep in mind that if you have a lot of variations, this can quickly become confusing. Make sure to keep your images organized so that you know which is which. Otherwise, you may find yourself with a lot of extra work later on.

Once you’ve added all of the variation images that you want, you’ll need to go back and edit each image so that it has the correct title and description. To do this, hover over each image in the gallery and click on the “Edit” link.

In the popup window, enter in a title and description for each image. This is important because it will help customers understand what they are looking at when they hover over an image.

After you’ve added and edited all of your variation images, click on the “Update” button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

Conclusion:
Adding different variations of an image can help give customers a better idea of what a product looks like from different angles or in different colors. There are a few different ways that you can add variation images to your product pages in WooCommerce, but one way is to simply add them to your product gallery.
