How Do I Set Up Inventory in Shopify?

If you’re starting a new business, one of the first things you’ll need to do is set up inventory in your Shopify account. This process is relatively simple and only requires a few steps. Let’s take a look at how to set up inventory in Shopify.

1. Log into your Shopify account and click on “Products” in the left-hand sidebar. This will take you to the main product page where you can see all of the products that you currently have listed in your store.

2. Click on the “Add product” button near the top of the page. This will take you to the product details page where you can fill out all of the information for your new product.

3. Enter all of the relevant information for your product, including the name, description, price, and images. Be sure to fill out all of the required fields (marked with a red asterisk) before moving on to the next step.

4. Scroll down to the “Inventory” section and select whether or not this product is available for purchase in your shop. If it is available, enter the quantity that you have in stock. If it is not available, leave this field blank.

5. Save your changes and exit out of the product details page. Your new product should now be listed on your main products page with its inventory status displayed next to it.
