How Do I Link Google Sheets to Squarespace?

Last updated on December 29, 2022 @ 7:20 pm

Google Sheets is a spreadsheet application that allows users to create and format spreadsheets. Spreadsheets are often used to store data, but they can also be used to perform calculations.

Google Sheets offers a way to link spreadsheet data to a Squarespace website. This can be useful if you want to display data from a spreadsheet on your website.

To link Google Sheets to Squarespace, you will need to use the Embed Code block. This block allows you to embed code from other websites into your Squarespace website. To find the code that you need to embed, open the Google Sheet that you want to link to your website.

Then, click the Share button in the top-right corner of the sheet. A pop-up window will appear with a link to the sheet. Copy this link and paste it into the Embed Code block on your Squarespace website.

PRO TIP: Before linking your Google Sheets account to Squarespace, please be aware that doing so may give Squarespace access to sensitive information in your sheets. We recommend only linking to sheets that contain data that is not confidential or personal.

Once you have added the code, you can style it using HTML tags. The <p> tag will add a paragraph break, while the <b> tag will make text bold.

You can also use the <u> tag to underline text. To see how this works, try adding some of these tags to the code that you just embedded.

The process of linking Google Sheets to Squarespace is relatively simple. By using the Embed Code block, you can easily add spreadsheet data to your website. You can then style this data using HTML tags.
