Adding a Subcategory in WooCommerce
If you’re running a WooCommerce store, you might need to add a subcategory at some point. This can be done easily from the WordPress admin panel. Here’s how:
PRO TIP: When adding a subcategory in WooCommerce, be sure to select the correct parent category from the dropdown menu. If you do not select a parent category, the subcategory will not be added correctly.
First, log in to your WordPress site and go to the WooCommerce section. Then, hover over the Products tab and click on Categories.
On the Categories page, you’ll see a list of all the existing categories. To add a new subcategory, find the category that you want to add it to and click on the Add New Subcategory button.
Enter the name and slug for your new subcategory, then click on the Add New Subcategory button. Your subcategory will now be added!
