If you have an existing domain name that you want to use with Squarespace, you can transfer it to us. You’ll need to initiate the transfer with your current registrar, and then provide us with the authorization code once the transfer is complete. Once your domain is transferred to Squarespace, we’ll automatically connect it to your site.
Here are a few things to keep in mind when buying or transferring a domain name:

You can only transfer .com, .net, .biz, and .info domains to Squarespace. If you have a different type of domain (like .club or .design), you can point it to your site instead.

.co domains can only be transferred if they were registered after July 20, 2016.

It typically takes five days for a transfer to complete, but it can take up to eight days in some cases.
