Customizing a WordPress theme can be a bit daunting for first-time users. However, by following a few simple tips, you can quickly and easily make your own template look and feel exactly the way you want it to.
1. Change the Theme Description
The first step is to change the theme’s description. This is located in the theme’s settings page under the “Additional Information” tab.
This is where you can provide a more detailed description of the theme, as well as provide links to your theme’s demo and gallery pages.
2. Change the Theme Colors
Next, you can change the theme’s colors by clicking on the “Colors” tab and selecting a new color scheme. This section also includes a “Theme Options” tab where you can change other theme settings, such as the font size and background color.

The “Layout” tab includes options for changing the theme’s layout. You can change the number of columns and the width of the theme’s main content area.
