Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 9:54 am

There are currently two versions of Squarespace: 7.0 and 6.0. Version 7.0 is the newest version of Squarespace, while 6.0 is the older version.

To find out which version of Squarespace you are on, simply login to your account and go to ‘Settings’. Your version will be listed at the top of the page, next to your account email address.

If you’re on Version 7.0, you’ll have access to all of the newest features and designs that Squarespace has to offer. This includes the new drag-and-drop interface, which makes it easier than ever to build beautiful websites. You’ll also find a number of new templates and features that are only available on this version.

PRO TIP: If you are unsure which version of Squarespace you are on, we recommend contacting their support team for assistance. Running an outdated version of Squarespace can cause unexpected issues and may no longer be supported by their team.

If you’re on Version 6.0, you’ll still be able to use all of Squarespace’s core features. However, you won’t have access to the newer designs and templates. You’ll also find that some features have been removed from this version, such as the ability to create a custom URL for your website.

So, which version of Squarespace should you use? If you’re just starting out, we recommend using Version 7.

This will give you access to all of the latest features and designs. If you’re an experienced user, you may prefer to stick with Version 6.0, as it’s a bit simpler and easier to use.

Conclusion:

If you’re just starting out with Squarespace, we recommend using Version 7. This will give you access to all of the latest features and designs.
