How Do I Style a Footer in Squarespace?

Last updated on December 30, 2022 @ 8:49 pm

There are many ways to style a footer in Squarespace. One way is to use the <p>, <b> and <u> tags.

These tags will allow you to control the font size, weight, and style of your footer text. You can also use CSS to style your footer text. CSS is a more advanced way to style text and is beyond the scope of this article.

If you want to use the <p>, <b> and <u> tags to style your footer text, you will need to add these tags around your footer text. For example, if your footer text is “Copyright My Company 2018”, you would add the following code around your footer text:

Copyright My Company 2018

This code would make your footer text appear as follows:

Copyright My Company 2018

You can experiment with different combinations of tags to create different styles for your footer text.

Once you have styled your footer text, you can add a background image or color to your footer using CSS. Adding a background image or color will help your footer stand out from the rest of your website.
