How Do I Use Thank You Page in WooCommerce?

Last updated on October 2, 2022 @ 12:12 am

A thank you page is the page a customer is sent to after completing a purchase. This page can be used to upsell products, cross-sell products, or simply say “thank you” for the purchase.

There are a few ways to set up a thank you page in WooCommerce.

The first is to create a separate thank you page and then set the “Thank You Page” option in WooCommerce > Settings > Checkout to that page. The second way is to use a shortcode on any page, and the third way is to use a plugin.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with WooCommerce, we recommend that you consult with a developer or support team before using the Thank You Page feature. This feature can be used to create a custom page for your customers after they complete an order, but it can also be used to track conversions and other important data. If used incorrectly, the Thank You Page feature can cause problems with your store.

If you’re using a theme that doesn’t have built-in support for WooCommerce, then you’ll likely need to use a plugin or shortcode. There are many plugins that add WooCommerce support to themes, so check with your theme author before selecting a plugin.

Once you’ve installed and activated a plugin or added the necessary code to your theme, you can then go to WooCommerce > Settings > Checkout and select your thank you page.
