Where Are WooCommerce Attributes Stored?

Last updated on October 2, 2022 @ 12:31 am

All of the data for your WooCommerce products is stored in the WordPress database. This includes product attributes.

By default, WooCommerce uses the WordPress database to store all of your product and customer data. However, you can manage WooCommerce data using the WP-CLI. If you want to move your WooCommerce data to a different database, you can install the WooCommerce Custom Database plugin.

When you add a new attribute to a product, WooCommerce will automatically save it to the database. You can view all of your attributes by going to WooCommerce > Attributes.

From here, you can add, edit, or delete attributes. You can also assign attributes to products from this page.

Where are WooCommerce attributes stored

WooCommerce attributes are stored in the WordPress database. You can view them by going to WooCommerce > Attributes.

PRO TIP: If you are looking for information on where WooCommerce attributes are stored, be warned that this information is difficult to find. WooCommerce does not store attributes in a central location, but rather stores them in each product’s post meta data. This can make finding and editing attributes a challenge, especially if you are not familiar with working with post meta data.
