How Do I Change My Email Notification on Shopify?

If you’re like most people, you probably check your email several times a day. But what if you’re getting too many emails from one particular sender?

Or what if you’re not getting any emails from a sender you want to hear from? You can change your email notification settings on Shopify to better control which emails you receive and when.

In your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Notifications.

From here, you can select which types of notifications you want to receive, and how often you want to receive them. There are four notification types: order notifications, customer notifications, shipping notifications, and app notifications.

PRO TIP: If you are planning to change your email notification on Shopify, be aware that this may result in losing important information or notifications from your store. Make sure to backup your data before making any changes.

Order notifications include things like new order confirmations, order cancellations, and payment failures. Customer notifications include account updates and password resets.

Shipping notifications include shipping updates and tracking information. App notifications come from apps that you have installed on your Shopify store.

You can choose to receive notifications immediately, or in a daily or weekly digest. You can also choose to receive all notifications, or only certain types of notifications. For example, you might want to receive all order notifications immediately, but only receive shipping notifications in a daily digest.

To change your notification settings for a specific app, go to Settings > Notifications > Apps. From here, you can choose which app notifications you want to receive and how often you want to receive them.

That’s all there is to changing your email notification settings on Shopify! By taking a few minutes to customize your settings, you can make sure that you’re only getting the emails that you actually want to see.
