Last updated on October 2, 2022 @ 3:31 am

As a Shopify merchant, you may be looking to add collaborators to help you with your store. Fortunately, Shopify makes it easy to add collaborators and manage their permissions.

In this article, we’ll show you how to accept a collaborator request on Shopify.

When someone requests to be a collaborator on your Shopify store, you’ll receive an email notification. To accept the request, simply click on the “Approve Request” button in the email.

Once you’ve approved the request, the person will be added as a collaborator on your store. You can then go to Shopify Admin > Settings > Account to manage the collaborator’s permissions.

By default, collaborators have access to your customer’s orders and can also manage themes and apps.

If you need to revoke a collaborator’s access for any reason, you can simply go to Shopify Admin > Settings > Account and remove them from the list of collaborators.

Adding collaborators to your Shopify store is a great way to delegate tasks and get help from other people. By following the steps above, you can easily accept collaborator requests and manage their permissions from your Shopify admin.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, accepting a collaborator request on Shopify can give the collaborator access to sensitive information such as your customer’s credit card information. Make sure that you trust the collaborator before accepting their request.
