Moodle is a popular e-learning platform that helps educators create and deliver online courses. Many Moodle users also want to sell their courses online, and WooCommerce is a great option for doing so. Here’s how to sell a Moodle course in WooCommerce:
First, you’ll need to create a product in WooCommerce. To do this, go to the Products page and click on the Add New button.
Enter a name and description for your product, and then scroll down to the Product Data section. In the Product Data section, select the Virtual checkbox and then enter a price for your course.
Next, you’ll need to add a downloadable product file. This file will be used to deliver your Moodle course to your customers.
To do this, go to the Media Library and upload your Moodle course ZIP file. Once the file has been uploaded, copy the URL of the file and paste it into the File URL field on the WooCommerce product page.
Now that you have your product created, you’ll need to create a WooCommerce page where customers can purchase your course. To do this, go to the Pages page and click on the Add New button.
Enter a name and description for your page, and then scroll down to the Page Attributes section. In the Page Attributes section, select the Products template from the dropdown menu.
Once you’ve selected the Products template, you’ll see a list of all of your WooCommerce products on the page. Find the product you created for your Moodle course and click on it. This will add a Buy Now button for your product to the page.
Now that you have your Moodle course set up and ready to sell in WooCommerce, there are just a few more things you’ll need to do. First, you’ll need to set up shipping for your course.
Shipping is how you’ll deliver your Moodle course files to your customers after they purchase it. To set up shipping, go to the WooCommerce Settings page and click on the Shipping tab. From here, you can add flat rate shipping costs for delivery of digital products.
The last thing you’ll need to do is set up payment methods for your WooCommerce store. Payment methods are how you’ll accept payments from customers who purchase your Moodle course.
To set up payment methods, go to the WooCommerce Settings page and click on the Payments tab. From here, you can choose which payment methods you want to enable for your store.
