How Does Cart Work in WooCommerce?

Most of us are familiar with shopping carts. You know, those things you put your groceries in at the store?

Well, WooCommerce has a shopping cart, too! But how does it work?

For starters, when you add a product to your cart in WooCommerce, it doesn’t actually get added to the cart until you click on the “Add to Cart” button. Once you do that, the item is then added to your cart and you’ll see it appear in the upper right-hand corner of your screen.

If you want to keep shopping and add more items to your cart, simply continue browsing the site and adding items to your cart as you go. When you’re ready to checkout, click on the “Cart” link in the upper right-hand corner of your screen and you’ll be taken to your shopping cart page.

On the shopping cart page, you’ll see a list of all the items you’ve added to your cart. From here, you can either continue shopping or begin the checkout process. If you continue shopping, simply click on the “Continue Shopping” button and you’ll be taken back to the main shop page.

To checkout, click on the “Proceed to Checkout” button. You’ll then be taken to the first page of the checkout process where you’ll enter your billing information. Once you’ve entered all of your information and clicked on the “Continue” button, you’ll be taken to the next page of the checkout process.

On this page, you’ll enter your shipping information. Once you’ve entered all of your information and clicked on the “Continue” button again, you’ll be taken to the next page.

On this final page of the checkout process, you’ll enter your payment information. Once you’ve entered all of your information and clicked on the “Place Order” button, your order will be processed and you’ll be taken to a confirmation page.

How Does Cart Work in WooCommerce?

WooCommerce’s shopping cart works just like a regular shopping cart at a grocery store. You can add items to your cart and then checkout when you’re ready. The only difference is that in WooCommerce, items aren’t actually added to your cart until you click on the “Add to Cart” button.
