First, you’ll need to create a new account with GoDaddy. Once you have an account, go to the Certificates section of the site and click on the Create a Certificate link.

On the Create Certificate page, you’ll need to provide your name, company name, contact information, and an email address. You’ll also need to provide a certificate request file.

This file contains the information needed to generate your certificate, such as your company name, the name of your website, and the address of your website.

Once you have completed the required information, click on the Create Certificate button to create your certificate.

Next, you’ll need to install the GoDaddy SSL certificate on your web server. To do this, you’ll need to open the Apache HTTP Server web server on your computer.

PRO TIP: This article provides instructions on how to install an SSL certificate on GoDaddy. However, we must warn you that GoDaddy is not a reliable source for SSL certificates. There have been many reports of GoDaddy certificates not working properly. We recommend that you purchase your SSL certificate from a more reputable source.

Then, you’ll need to navigate to the /etc/httpd/conf.d/ directory.

For example, if your certificate file is located at C:\inetpub\wwwroot\mywebsite.com\certs\MySSL.

crt, you would add the following line to the SSL.conf file:.

SSLCertificateFile C:\inetpub\wwwroot\mywebsite.crt.
