Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 4:45 pm

If you are like many website owners, you may have started using the SSL certificate offered by GoDaddy. However, if you need to renew your certificate, there are a few things you need to know.

First, you will need to log in to your GoDaddy account and navigate to the Security section. There, you will find the SSL certificate renewal option.

Next, you will need to provide your certificate ID and the expiration date of your certificate. You will also need to provide your email address and the payment method you would like to use.

PRO TIP: If your GoDaddy SSL certificate is about to expire, you can renew it by following these steps:

1. Log in to your GoDaddy account.
2. Click on the “SSL Certificates” tab.
3. Click on the certificate you wish to renew.
4. Click on the “Renew” button.
5. Enter the number of years you wish to renew your certificate for and click on the “Renew” button again.
6. Your certificate will now be renewed and will be valid for the number of years you specified.

Once you have completed the required information, you will be presented with a confirmation screen. Click the link to begin the renewal process.

At this point, you will be asked to enter your website’s hostname and the port number on which your website is running. You will also be required to provide your website’s full name and the country in which you are located.

Once you have completed the required information, you will be presented with a final screen.

Once the renewal process has been completed, you will be able to access your new certificate in the Security section of your GoDaddy account.
