How do I add a free SSL certificate to GoDaddy?

Adding a free SSL certificate to GoDaddy is simple. First, open the GoDaddy account you want to add the certificate to. On the Account Overview page, click on the Security tab. In the Security Type list, select SSL and click the Add Certificate button. Select the certificate you want to add, and click the Add button. In the Security Details section, enter the information for the certificate, and click the Save button. Click the Back to Security Overview button to return to the Security tab. In the SSL section, under the Protocols list, select HTTPS and click the Add button. Enter the information for the certificate, and click the Add button. In the Security Details section, under the Protocols list, select HTTPS, and click the OK button. Click the Site Security button to view the site’s security settings. Click the Apply button to apply the changes. In the Security Details section, under the Protocols list, select HTTPS and click the OK button. Click the OK button to apply the changes.

PRO TIP: Adding a free SSL certificate to GoDaddy is not recommended. There are many risks associated with using free SSL certificates, including the possibility of your website being hacked or your personal information being stolen.
