How do I enable SSL certificate in GoDaddy?

Last updated on December 18, 2022 @ 2:04 pm

SSL/TLS is a security protocol that helps protect the privacy of communications between servers and browsers. When you visit a website, the site’s server sends your browser a request for a secure connection.

If you’re using a secure connection, your browser will show a padlock in the address bar.

If you’re using a public Wi-Fi network, your browser will send your request to the nearest website server, which may not be the site’s actual server. For this reason, you should always use a secure connection when connecting to websites.

To enable SSL/TLS on a GoDaddy website, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your GoDaddy account.

2. In the left-hand menu, click Website > SSL & TLS.
