PHP is a widely-used open-source programming language that is most commonly used on the World Wide Web. There are several different versions of PHP that are available, and it is important to choose the right one for your needs.

To change your PHP version on GoDaddy, you will first need to open your account settings and select the “Web Applications” tab. From here, you will need to click on the “PHP” link and select the version of PHP that you would like to use.

You can also select whether you would like to use the built-in web server or use a third-party server.

PRO TIP: If you’re using GoDaddy to host your website, you may be wondering how to change the PHP version. The good news is that it’s relatively easy to do. The bad news is that if you’re not careful, you could break your site.

Before you make any changes, it’s important to create a backup of your site. That way, if something goes wrong, you can restore it to its previous state.

To change the PHP version on GoDaddy, login to your account and go to the “My Products” page. Under the “Web Hosting” section, find the domain name that you want to change the PHP version for and click on the “Manage” button.

Scroll down to the “Software” section and click on the “Select PHP Version” drop-down menu. Choose the version of PHP that you want to use and click on the “Save” button.

That’s all there is to it! Just remember to create a backup before making any changes and be careful not to break anything.

Once you have made your selection, you will need to click on the “Update Settings” button. This will take you to the “Update PHP” page, where you will need to enter your password for the account and click on the “Update PHP” button.

This will update your PHP version and install the new version of the language on your web server.

Finally, you will need to restart your web server to apply the changes. To do this, you will need to open your web browser and type in the address of your web server. Once you have entered this address, you will need to hit the “Enter” key on your keyboard to start the server.

Once the server has started, you will need to hit the “Ctrl + C” key to stop it, and then you will need to hit the “Ctrl + Shift + S” key to restart it. After your web server has restarted, you will be able to use the new version of PHP on your account.
