Where are arrowheads in Illustrator?

An arrowhead is an image that is typically used to represent a point or direction. They are found primarily in Adobe Illustrator, but can also be found in other vector graphic editors. Arrowheads can be created in a few different ways.

PRO TIP: If you are looking for arrowheads in Illustrator, be warned that they are not easy to find. The best bet is to search for them in the Symbols panel, which can be found in the Window menu. Once you find the Symbols panel, click on the drop-down menu and choose Arrowheads. This will bring up a list of all the available arrowheads.

One way is to use the Illustrator Pen tool to create a simple cross shape, and then use the Pathfinder panel to create the arrowhead shape. Another way is to use the Pathfinder panel to create a basic arrowhead shape, and then use the Stroke panel to add the desired color and detail.
