PRO TIP: Can you measure in Illustrator? –

If you are working on a design project in Adobe Illustrator, it is important to know how to properly measure objects within the program. Otherwise, your design may not turn out the way you intended! Here are a few things to keep in mind when measuring objects in Illustrator:

– Use the Selection tool (V) to select the object you want to measure.

– To measure the width of an object, go to Object > Transform > Scale. Enter the width you want the object to be in the “Width” field and press “OK”.

– To measure the height of an object, go to Object > Transform > Scale. Enter the height you want the object to be in the “Height” field and press “OK”.

– To measure the distance between two points, use the Line Segment tool (\) to draw a line between those points. The measurement will appear in the Info panel.

The grid is a grid that is displayed when you place the cursor over the gridlines. You can also use the measurement units. You can select the unit of measurement from the menu that is displayed when you hover the cursor over the gridlines. You can also use the keyboard shortcuts to measure distances and angles.
