In Illustrator, you can create a texture brush by selecting the Gradient Tool and clicking on the new Gradient panel (Window > Gradient). This will open the Gradient Editor (Window > Gradient).
To create a new texture, first click on the New button at the bottom of the Gradient Editor and select the Gradient Type drop-down menu and select Texture.
In the Properties panel, you can set the following properties for the texture:
-Start Point: This is the point at which the texture starts.
-End Point: This is the point at which the texture ends.
-Gradient Type: This is the type of gradient that you will be creating.
-Thin/Thick: This determines the thickness of the texture.
-Wrap Mode: This determines how the texture will be wrapped around the object.
Once you have set the properties, you can start creating the texture by dragging the Start Point and End Point of the gradient around the object.
To create a gradient in the direction you want it to go, hold down the Alt (Windows) key and click and drag the Start Point and End Point.
To create a gradient in the opposite direction, hold down the Option (Mac) key and click and drag the Start Point and End Point.
Once you have created the texture, you can save it by selecting the File > Save As… menu item and selecting the texture file format (.tga, .
jpg, or .png).
To finish, you can add the texture to your project by selecting the object and then selecting the Texture panel (Window > Texture).
