How do I FTP to AWS?

Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 6:18 pm

AWS is a popular cloud-based platform that allows users to store data, run applications, and manage their networks. In order to FTP to AWS, you will need to create an account and create a user profile. Once you have created your profile, you will need to set up an FTP client. Once you have your FTP client set up, you will need to connect to your AWS account. Once you are connected, you will need to navigate to the “File” menu and select “FTP”.

PRO TIP: When connecting to your AWS instance via FTP, be sure to use a secure connection (SFTP) and not a regular FTP connection. Regular FTP is not encrypted and is therefore less secure.

From here, you will need to enter your FTP user name and password. After you have entered these details, you will be able to access your files and folders. You can also use the “File” menu to access other features of the AWS platform. Finally, be sure to save your files before you leave the FTP session.
