If you want to change your DNS service to use a different provider, or you want to use a third-party DNS provider to supplement your current DNS service, you can use FreeDNS Namecheap.
To use FreeDNS Namecheap, first create an account. Next, sign in to your account and select the DNS section.
You will see the list of available DNS servers. To use a server from this list, simply enter its IP address into the “IP Address” field and click the “Add” button.
If you want to use a server from the Namecheap network, you will first need to create an account with Namecheap. After you have created your account, click the “DNS” tab and select the “Namecheap” network from the list of available networks.
To use a server from the Namecheap network, enter its IP address into the “IP Address” field and click the “Add” button.
If you want to use a server from the Google DNS network, first create an account with Google. After you have created your account, click the “DNS” tab and select the “Google” network from the list of available networks.
To use a server from the Google DNS network, enter its IP address into the “IP Address” field and click the “Add” button.
After you have added a server from the list, you will need to enter the server’s hostname into the “Hostname” field. You can also enter the server’s IP address into the “IP Address” field if you want to use the server without its hostname.
Finally, you will need to enter the server’s port number. The default port number for the FreeDNS Namecheap servers is 853.
After you have added a server, you will need to click the “Update” button to activate the server. The server will now be available for use.
To use the server, first enter the server’s hostname into the “Hostname” field of your web browser. Next, enter the server’s IP address into the “URL” field of your web browser.
Finally, enter the server’s port number into the “Port” field of your web browser.
If you are using the server to access a website that uses a different domain name than the server’s hostname, you will need to enter the server’s domain name into the “Domain” field of your web browser.
If you are using the server to access a website that uses a different port number than the server’s port number, you will need to enter the server’s port number into the “Port” field of your web browser.
If you are using the server to access a website that uses a different hostname than the server’s hostname, you will need to enter the server’s hostname into the “Hostname” field of your web browser.
After you have entered the server’s information, you will need to click the “OK” button to activate the server.
If you want to stop using the server, you can click the “Stop” button to deactivate the server.
