How do I disable the verification code on Namecheap?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 6:37 pm

If you have a Namecheap account, you may have a verification code associated with it. This code is used to verify your identity before allowing you to make changes to your account settings or make any purchases.

To disable the verification code:

1. Log in to your Namecheap account.

2. Click on the Account tab.

3. Under Account Settings, click on Security.

4. Under Verification Code, click on the toggle button to turn it off.

5. Click on Save Changes to apply your changes.

PRO TIP: If you are looking to disable the verification code on namecheap, be warned that this could lead to your account being hacked. By disabling the verification code, you are essentially giving anyone who knows your account name and password full access to your account without having to enter in the verification code. If you must disable the verification code, be sure to change your password frequently and keep a close eye on your account activity.
