How do I create an alias in Namecheap?

Alias management is a critical part of any DNS management solution. Namecheap provides the ability to create, delete, and manage aliases in a simple and intuitive manner.

To create an alias in Namecheap:
1. Navigate to your Namecheap account.
2. Click on the Aliases tab.
3. Click on the Add New Alias button.
4. In the Aliases Name field, enter the alias name you want to create.
5. In the Type field, select the type of alias you want to create.
6. In the DNS Servers field, enter the DNS servers that the alias will point to.
7. In the Hosts field, enter the hostnames or IP addresses that the alias will point to.
8. Click on the Add button.

To delete an alias in Namecheap:
1. Click on the Delete Alias button.
2. In the Aliases Name field, enter the alias name you want to delete.
3. Click on the Delete button.
4. Click on the OK button to confirm the deletion.

To manage aliases in Namecheap:
1. Click on the Edit Alias button.
2. In the Aliases Name field, enter the alias name you want to manage.
3. In the Type field, select the type of alias you want to manage.

4. In the Description field, enter a description of the alias.
5. In the Alias Members field, select the alias members.

To remove alias members from an alias in Namecheap:
1. Click on the Remove button.

To view the aliases for a domain name in Namecheap:
1. Click on the Names tab.
2. Click on the Domains button.
3. In the Domains list, click on the domain name you want to view the aliases for.
4. In the Alias list, click on the alias you want to view the details for.
5. In the Type field, select the type of alias you want to view the details for.
