There are three types of VPC networks in Google Cloud: Default, Regional, and External.
Default VPC networks
Default VPC networks are the simplest and most commonly used type of VPC network. A default VPC network is created when you create a new Google Cloud project.
A default VPC network is composed of one or more subnets, and each subnet is isolated from the other subnets.
A default VPC network has two public addresses: an internet address and a public address for a subnet. The public internet address is used to communicate with the internet, and the public address for a subnet is used to communicate with the subnet.
A default VPC network can have one or more networks attached to it. A network is a collection of subnets.
Networks are used to divide the default VPC network into separate parts.
Default VPC networks have certain restrictions. You can’t create a default VPC network in a region that’s not available in your region.
You also can’t create a default VPC network that has more than 100 VMs or 10 GBytes of storage.
Regional VPC networks
Regional VPC networks are similar to default VPC networks, but they have some additional features.
A regional VPC network is composed of one or more subnets, and each subnet is isolated from the other subnets. A regional VPC network has two public addresses: an internet address and a public address for a subnet.
The public internet address is used to communicate with the internet, and the public address for a subnet is used to communicate with the subnet.
1. Shared VPC networks
2. Dedicated VPC networks
3. Hybrid VPC networks
Each type of VPC network has its own advantages and disadvantages, so please choose the one that best suits your needs.

You also can’t create a regional VPC network that has more than 100 VMs or 10 GBytes of storage.
External VPC networks
External VPC networks are different from the other types of VPC networks.
An external VPC network is a network that’s attached to a Google Cloud project that’s not a default or regional VPC network.
An external VPC network has one or more subnets, and each subnet is isolated from the other subnets.
A external VPC network has two public addresses: an internet address and a public address for a subnet.
