Adding a Namecheap domain to Netlify can be done using the following steps:

1. Go to the Netlify settings page and click on the domains tab.

2. Under the Namecheap domain section, click on the Add domain button.

3. Enter the domain name into the Add domain field and click on the Add domain button.

4. Netlify will check if the domain is available and if it is, it will add the domain to your account.

5. You will now be able to add a domain to your Netlify account and configure it using the Netlify settings page.

Now that you have added a Namecheap domain to your Netlify account, you can start using it to host your website. To do this, you will need to configure Netlify to use the domain name as the root domain for your site. To do this, you will need to follow these steps:

PRO TIP: If you are trying to add a Namecheap domain to your Netlify account, you may encounter some difficulties. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

– Make sure that your Namecheap account is using the correct DNS servers. Netlify requires that you use their custom DNS servers in order for the integration to work properly.

– Be aware that it may take up to 48 hours for DNS changes to propagate. So if you don’t see your site appearing right away, don’t panic! Just give it some time.

– If you’re still having trouble, reach out to Namecheap’s support team or Netlify’s support team for help.

2. Under the Namecheap domain section, click on the Set root domain button. Enter the domain name into the Root domain field and click on the Set root domain button. Netlify will now change the root domain for your site to the domain name that you added to your Netlify account. You will now be able to visit your website using the domain name that you added to your Netlify account.

Congratulations! You have now added a Namecheap domain to your Netlify account and configured it to use as the root domain for your site.
