GPU on Google Cloud is not as straightforward as it may seem at first. The first thing you need to do is to create a project in the Google Cloud Platform Console and set up a billing account. Once you have created the project and activated the billing account, you need to add a Compute Engine instance type that supports GPUs.
There are two Compute Engine instance types that support GPUs: the Tesla K80 and the P100. You can find more information on the Compute Engine instance types that support GPUs here.
Once you have added the Compute Engine instance type, you will need to create a GPU instance. To do this, you will need to create a new instance type and set the instance type to GPU.
You will also need to set the amount of memory and disk space that the instance will use. You can find more information on setting up a GPU instance here.
After you have set up the instance, you will need to enable GPU on the instance. To enable GPU, you will need to open the Google Cloud Platform Console and click on the Projects tab. You will then need to click on the project that you want to enable GPU on and click on the Settings button.
You will then need to click on the Compute Engine section and click on the Modules tab. You will then need to click on the Enable GPU module and click on the Enable button.
After you have enabled GPU on the instance, you will need to configure the instance for GPU usage. To do this, you will need to open the Google Cloud Platform Console and click on the Images tab. You will then need to click on the image that you want to use for GPU processing and click on the Settings button.
You will then need to click on the Settings tab and click on the GPU Settings button. You will then need to click on the Enable GPU button and click on the OK button.
After you have configured the instance for GPU usage, you will need to start the instance and enable GPU processing. To do this, you will need to open the Google Cloud Platform Console and click on the Instances tab. You will then need to click on the instance that you want to use for GPU processing and click on the Start button.
You will then need to click on the GPU Settings button and click on the Enable GPU button. You will then need to click on the OK button.
After you have started the instance and enabled GPU processing, you will need to wait for the instance to finish startup and start processing. To do this, you will need to wait until the instance says that it is ready for use and then click on the GPU Settings button.
You will then need to click on the Status button and wait until the GPU processing status says that the instance is processing.
After the instance has finished processing, you will need to stop the instance and remove the GPU instance.
You will then need to click on the instance that you want to use for GPU processing and click on the Stop button. You will then need to click on the Remove button and wait until the instance is removed from the Google Cloud Platform Console.
After the instance has been removed, you will need to reboot the instance to apply the changes that you have made. You will then need to click on the instance that you want to use for GPU processing and click on the Reboot button.
You will then need to wait until the instance reboots and then click on the GPU Settings button. You will then need to click on the Status button and wait until the GPU processing status says that the instance is processing.
After the instance has rebooted, you will need to log in to the instance and delete the GPU instance. You will then need to click on the instance that you want to use for GPU processing and click on the Log In button.
You will then need to enter your Google Cloud Platform credentials and click on the OK button. You will then need to click on the instance and click on the Delete button.
After you have deleted the GPU instance, you will need to restart the instance to apply the changes that you have made.
