Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 6:21 am

Wix is a user-friendly, drag-and-drop website creation platform. It’s free to use, and you can use it to create a website or a blog using a wide variety of templates.

To use Wix with Visual Studio, you first need to install the Wix Extension for Visual Studio. Once the extension is installed, you can open a project in Visual Studio and start creating your website.

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

To create a website using a Wix template, first select the template that you want to use. Next, add your content and design elements.

PRO TIP: When using WiX with Visual Studio, it is important to be aware that Visual Studio will automatically add files to the WiX project that may not be needed. Additionally, Visual Studio will automatically generate code signing certificates which may not be compatible with the WiX project.

You can use Wix’s built-in tools or your own custom code to create your website.

When you’re finished, you can view and test your website online. You can also export your website to a variety of formats, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

You can also use Wix with other popular programming languages, such as C# and JavaScript. If you want to use Wix with Visual Studio, we recommend that you download the extension and try it out.
