As of this writing, Joomla versions are 3.5, 3.6, 3.7, 3.8, 3.9, and 4.0. Joomla 3.5 is the oldest version, and is no longer being developed or supported.
PRO TIP: The current Joomla version is 3.4.8. Please note that Joomla 3.5 is not yet released, and the 3.5 release date has not been announced. Therefore, do not upgrade to Joomla 3.5 until it is officially released.
6 is the most recent version, and is supported until April 2020.7 is the next most recent version and is supported until October 2021.8 is the next most recent version and is supported until May 2022.9 is the next most recent version and is supported until January 2023. Joomla 4.0 is the next most recent version and is supported until December 2024.
