How Do I Turn on Perspective Grid in Photoshop?

Last updated on September 23, 2022 @ 8:46 pm

To turn on Perspective Grid in Photoshop, open the Preferences dialog box (Edit > Preferences) and select the Perspective Grid checkbox. Next, open the View menu and choose Show > Perspective Grid. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+I.

When you turn on Perspective Grid, you’ll see a series of perspective axes that intersect at a vanishing point.

These axes are used to help you align objects in your document so they appear to recede into the distance.

PRO TIP: If you’re not familiar with Photoshop’s Perspective Grid feature, be careful when turning it on – it can cause some strange distortions to your image. If you’re not careful, you may end up with an image that looks like it’s been pulled apart at the seams!

To use the Perspective Grid, simply click and drag one of the axes to move it. As you do, you’ll see the gridlines move and perspective distortion is applied to your document. To reset the grid, simply double-click on one of the axes.

The Perspective Grid is a handy tool in Photoshop that can help you align objects in your document so they appear to recede into the distance. To turn on Perspective Grid, open the Preferences dialog box (Edit > Preferences) and select the Perspective Grid checkbox.

Next, open the View menu and choose Show > Perspective Grid.
