How Do I Save an Animated GIF in Photoshop?

There are a few different ways to save an animated GIF in Photoshop. The first way is to go to File > Save for Web.

In the save for web window, make sure you have the GIF format selected, and then click on the Save button. Photoshop will then save your GIF for you.

PRO TIP: When saving an animated GIF in Photoshop, it is important to note that only the frame currently selected will be saved. To save all frames in the animation, first, select ‘File > Save for Web & Devices.’ In the window that opens, make sure ‘Animated GIF’ is selected in the drop-down menu next to ‘Format,’ and then click ‘Save.’

Another way to save an animated GIF in Photoshop is to go to File > Export > Save for Web (Legacy). In the save for web window, make sure you have the GIF format selected, and then click on the Save button.
