Last updated on September 23, 2022 @ 9:14 pm

When you’re working with images in Photoshop, you may need to resize or move them to fit your project. Resizing an image means changing the dimensions and/or file size of it, while moving an image means changing its position on the Photoshop canvas. In this article, we’ll show you how to do both.

To resize an image in Photoshop:

1. Open the image you want to resize in Photoshop.

2. Go to Image > Image Size. A dialog box will appear.

3.

In the dialog box, you can enter new values for width and height. You can also select a new resolution. When you’re finished, click OK. The image will be resized.

To move an image in Photoshop:

1. Open the image you want to move in Photoshop. Select the Move Tool, which is located near the top of the Photoshop toolbar.

Click on the part of the image that you want to move, and then drag it to the new location on the canvas. When you’re finished, release the mouse button.

The above steps show you how to resize and move an image in Photoshop. By following these steps, you can easily adjust the size and position of any image in Photoshop.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with Photoshop, please do not attempt to resize or move an image. These actions can permanently alter or delete your image.
