The paint bucket tool is one of the most basic and frequently used tools in Photoshop. It allows you to quickly fill a selection with a solid color or a pattern.

To use the paint bucket tool, first make a selection that you want to fill. Then, click on the paint bucket tool in the toolbar or press the letter G on your keyboard.

PRO TIP: The Photoshop CC Paint Bucket Tool can be found under the ‘Paint Bucket Tool’ drop-down menu. It is located in the ‘Tools’ menu at the top of the screen. If you are using an older version of Photoshop, the Paint Bucket Tool may be located in a different menu.

If you want to fill your selection with a pattern, first make sure that you have a pattern loaded into Photoshop. To do this, go to Edit > Presets > Preset Manager. From there, you can select a pattern from the drop-down menu and click Load.
