Photoshop is a widely used program for crafting layouts, graphics, logos, and photos. Aspiring web designers and developers must know how to use Photoshop to create website layouts and graphics.

The software offers a variety of features, one of which is the ability to stretch an image. This guide will show you how to stretch an image in Photoshop.

When you open Photoshop, you will see the main workspace. On the left, you will see the “Toolbox” which contains all of the tools you need to edit your image.

On the right, you will see the “Layers” palette. This is where you can control the order of your layers and make other changes. In the center of the workspace is your image.

PRO TIP: If you are planning on stretching an image in Photoshop, be aware that this can often lead to distorted or blurry images. When stretching an image, it is important to use the correct tools and settings to avoid these issues.

To begin, select the “Move Tool” from the Toolbox. Then click on your image and drag it to the desired location.

To stretch your image, hold down the “Shift” key on your keyboard and click on one of the corner handles of your image. Drag the handle outwards or inward to increase or decrease the size of your selection. As you do this, you will see a preview of how your image will look.

If you want to constrain the proportions of your image, hold down the “Shift” key and drag one of the side handles instead of a corner handle. This will keep your selection from becoming distorted as you resize it.

Once you are happy with how your image looks, let go of the mouse button and then release the “Shift” key. Your image will now be stretched according to your specifications!
