As a beginner in Photoshop, you should become familiar with the different features and tools that the program offers. You should also get to know the work area, which is where you will do most of your work.

The work area consists of the main window, called the workspace, and the panels, which are located around the workspace. The workspace is where you will see your images and where you will do your editing. The panels are where you will find the tools that you need to edit your images.

There are many different features and tools in Photoshop, and it can be overwhelming at first. However, there are a few things that every beginner should know how to do. Here are five things that every beginner in Photoshop should learn how to do:

1. Resize an image
2. Crop an image
3. Adjust the brightness and contrast of an image
4. Add text to an image
5. Save an image

Each of these tasks can be accomplished using the toolbar, which is located at the top of the workspace. The toolbar contains all of the tools that you need to edit your images. If you cannot find a tool on the toolbar, you can also access it from the menus or from the keyboard shortcuts.

To resize an image, select the “Transform” tool from the toolbar and then click on “Scale” from the options menu that appears. Enter the new width and height that you want for your image and then click “OK”.

To crop an image, select the “Crop” tool from the toolbar and then click and drag on the part of the image that you want to keep. When you are satisfied with your selection, click “Enter” or “Return” on your keyboard.

To adjust the brightness and contrast of an image, select “Image” from the top menu and then choose “Adjustments” followed by “Brightness/Contrast”. Move the slider bars to adjust the brightness and contrast of your image until you are satisfied with how it looks. Then click “OK”.

To add text to an image, select the “Text” tool from the toolbar and then click on the location where you want to add your text. Type out your text and then use the options menu that appears to change things like font size, color, and alignment. When you are finished, click “Enter” or Return” on your keyboard.

Finally, to save an image, select “File” from the top menu and then choose “Save As…” Choose a location to save your file and then click “Save”.
