In Photoshop, you can create a ray in several ways. You can use the Pen tool to draw a path that looks like a ray, or you can use the Shape tools to create a custom shape. You can also use the Brush tool to paint a ray.

To create a ray using the Pen tool, first create a new layer. Then, select the Pen tool from the Tools palette.

Click and drag to draw a path that resembles a ray. To give the ray some thickness, select the stroke option from the Properties panel. Choose a color for the stroke, and then increase the stroke width.

To create a ray using the Shape tools, first select the Rectangle tool from the Tools palette. Draw a rectangle that is as tall as you want the ray to be.

Next, select the Ellipse tool and draw an oval that is twice as wide as the rectangle. Position the oval so that it overlaps with one end of the rectangle.

With both shapes selected, go to Layer > Combine Shapes > Subtract Front Shape. This will create a custom shape that looks like a ray.

To add color to the ray, go to Layer > New Fill Layer > Solid Color. Choose a color for the fill layer, and then click OK.

Finally, to create a ray using the Brush tool, select the Brush tool from the Tools palette. Choose a brush tip that is soft and round.

Adjust the size of the brush tip so it is slightly larger than you want the ray to be. Click and drag to paint a soft line that resembles a ray.
