CTRL B is the shortcut for the Blur tool in Photoshop.

The Blur tool is used to blur or soften the edges of an image. It can be used to create a soft, dreamy effect or to make an image look out of focus.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that CTRL B in Photoshop is the shortcut for the brush tool. If you accidentally hit CTRL B instead of CTRL A, you will lose your selection.

To use the Blur tool, select it from the Tools palette or press CTRL B on your keyboard. Then, click and drag your mouse over the areas you want to blur.

The further you drag your mouse, the more blurred the effect will be.
