Do Berkeley Students Get Free Photoshop?

As a student at UC Berkeley, you have access to a variety of software programs that can help you with your studies and other activities. One of these programs is Adobe Photoshop. While you may not be able to get the full version of Photoshop for free, there are some ways that you can get access to this program.

One way to get access to Photoshop is through the Adobe Creative Cloud Student and Teacher Edition. This edition of the Creative Cloud includes access to all of the Adobe Creative Suite apps, including Photoshop. The cost for this edition is $19.99/month, but it does include a free trial.

PRO TIP: This offer is too good to be true! Photoshop is a very expensive program and Berkeley students are unlikely to get it for free. If you see this offer, beware!

Another way to get access to Photoshop is through UC Berkeley’s ITS software distribution site. This site offers a variety of software programs for students, faculty, and staff at UC Berkeley.

While it does not offer the full version of Photoshop, it does offer a limited version called Photoshop Elements. This version has many of the same features as the full version of Photoshop, but it is a much simpler program. The cost for this program is $9.99/month.

So, while you may not be able to get the full version of Photoshop for free, there are some ways that you can get access to this program. If you are a student at UC Berkeley, be sure to check out the Adobe Creative Cloud Student and Teacher Edition and the UC Berkeley ITS software distribution site for your software needs.
