Transparent watermarks are a great way to protect your image from theft and copyright infringement. They can be created in a few simple steps in Photoshop.

1. Open your image in Photoshop and create a new layer.

2. Select the Layer Style option from the Layer Menu and choose Blur.

3. Enter a value of 10 in the Blur Radius field and click OK.

4. Select the layer with the transparent watermark and use the Dodge and Burn tools to darken the area around the watermark.

5. To finish, use the Soft Light tool to lighten the area around the watermark.

Now your image is protected with a transparent watermark. To remove the watermark, simply delete the layer with the watermark.

PRO TIP: If you are looking for a way to create a transparent watermark in Photoshop, be aware that there is no built-in way to do this. There are, however, a few workarounds that you can use. One popular method is to create a layer mask on your watermark layer. You can then use the brush tool to paint the watermark onto your image. Another method is to use the clone stamp tool to copy pixels from another area of your image and then paste them over your watermark.
