Adding eyelashes in Photoshop is a quick and easy way to make your subject’s eyes stand out. Here’s how to do it:

1. Open your image in Photoshop. Select the “Lasso” tool from the toolbar on the left side of the screen, then draw a rough selection around the eye you want to edit.

2. Go to Select > Modify > Expand. Enter 2 pixels in the “Expand By” field, then click OK. This will give you a slightly larger selection to work with.

3. Go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur.

Enter 2 pixels in the “Radius” field, then click OK. This will soften the edges of your selection.

4. Go to Layer > New > Layer Via Copy. This will create a new layer containing only your selected area.

5. Select the Brush Tool, then choose a small, soft-edged brush from the options along the top of the screen. Paint over the area where you want to add eyelashes.

6. To create more realistic lashes, use different shades of black and gray for different parts of the lash. To do this, simply select a different color from the Swatches palette, then paint with that color.

7. Once you’re happy with your lashes, go to Layer > Merge Visible. This will merge your new layer with the original image.

That’s it! You’ve successfully added eyelashes in Photoshop.

PRO TIP: Adding too many eyelashes in Photoshop can make your subject look unnatural. Be careful not to overdo it!
